    Hi,
So I've just been put on a permanent contract at Marks and Spencer but I have also just been offered a better pad job elsewhere which I would much prefer. I don't have a copy of my employee handbook to look and I can't find one online so I just wondered if anyone here works for Marks and knows how long the resignation period is???
    Thanks!

If you are GCB 3 and above, you must give us at least three calendar months' notice in writing, unless otherwiseagreed.
For all other employees, you must give us at least one calendar months’ notice in writing, unless otherwise agreed.

In either case, you must ensure your entity manager receives your notice before it begins to run. We will not acceptverbal resignations.

    This is from M&S.
