Due to unforeseen circumstances at the beginning of the academic year I ended up moving in with some extended family in September for uni... I've been here for a month now & whilst it has its perks (I get fed well, saving money) there are a lot of cons (don't get to socialise as much, so far from the library, living with two noisy children, commuting 3 hours per day)... So basically the cons far outweigh the pros. I struggle to get any work done here, & last year whilst I lived closer to the uni and hated it as I had 5 very noisy housemates I was still able to go to the library and get my work done there. I have the option of moving in to a studio flat in January which is 15 mins away from university, but I'm not sure if it's worth it or if I should try & stick it out here until April, although I find myself counting down the days until I get to go home... What do you think I should do?
