I do maths, further maths, physics and chemistry and I'd like to drop chemistry next year. I want to do electrical engineering at Imperial.
Would having 3 subjects at A-level reduce your chances of getting into Imperial or does it not make a difference?

    Hi,

I did exactly the same subjects as you, and completed 4 A-levels. On paper, you only need 3 A-levels, but virtually everyone here at imperial, studying maths, physics, engineering etc has 4 A-levels. So in my opinion, you really shouldn't drop an A level (even though it seems logical to drop chemistry). Although universities don't like admitting it, sometimes they only have factors such as number of A-levels to distinguish between candidates so having 'only' 3 A-levels will reduce your chance of getting an offer/interview.

    Thank you!
Any other tips for getting into imperial?
