    Hi, I study in Italy and I don't know what A or A* valuations are...Can you help me? Here in Italy the marks are from 1 to 10.. Do you know what A* represents?

    I don't believe Universities "convert". https://www.imperial.ac.uk/study/ug/...ts/ugacademic/ Here's an extract from Imperial College's website. I believe these are minimum offers, though

    A* is the highest mark (usually >90%) for an A-level. Then A, B, etc. Most people do 3 or sometimes 4 A-levels.

    Most unis will list their typical requirement for non A-Level qualifications if you do some googling.

    Eg for Uni of Bath Italian applicants:

    "If you have completed your upper secondary education and obtained the Diploma di Esame di Stato you are encouraged to apply for undergraduate courses. As a guide an overall score of at least 95% is equivalent to receiving three A's at A Level."
