After being single for a few years and seeing all my friends moving in with their other halves single life is starting to get me down but all my friends say I should just enjoy being single and do what I went when I want. However I already do what I want and being single is still getting to me. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can enjoy being single?

I feel you everyone tells me 'wait for the right guy' but i want that right guy now not later!Ive been single my whole life (im 17) and whats worse I haven't kissed anyone yet! So at least you have the experience and it wont be awkward. Just think at parties how you can do whatever you like with nobody being on the phone demanding who your'e with and what your'e doing. Being single is fun, the excitement of who your next 'lover' might be or if you find 'the one' seriously life is too short to care about things like this when your'e young and free

And in a years time or more how many of those friends will be or already are bored and tired and fed up of their relationship, feeling tied down and dying a slow meek quiet death of the soul?

The point of a relationship is for fun sex and hanging out (in the beginning) and ideally in the future being with someone who's so awesome to you it just makes sense to keep on going.

Otherwise why feel pressured into a relationship? Being happy single is achieved by accepting and embracing that single is perfectly fine and you shouldn't get into a relationship just for the sake of it.

Plus people are attracted to happy confident singles. Soooo....just enjoy yourself and when the time is right your future sweetums will come along, knock you out and drag you back to her nest.
