Friend who sleeps around a LOT

I have a School friend who puts out for virtually every guy she meets.:frown:

So I'm going to swamped by ---it's her life and body---whatever! Surely it isn't beneficial to do this either for her health or psychological status?

Sh'e proud to have slept with a whole Rugby team:eek:

She also tries to lure her "friend'" bfs into bed as a sort of challenge, which has now resulted in the girls who are at Uni in the City where she is studying, totally blanking her and dumping her in the "sin-bin" for the forseeable future.

Having picked up the pieces on a number of fraught mornings,re-morning after meds and blood tests for stis, I've had it with her, some day she will either accuse some poor guy of rape or assault or find herself with a serious health complaint.

Her personal tutor at uni is arranging some psych help for her next term, so should I support her? Sadly when she isn't banging her way around the local males, she's actually a good friend, kind, bright and cool to hang out with:smile:

Slight twinges of guilt if we don't support her to deal with her crazy attitude to guys and sex, or should we help her and risk her not getting better and wrecking our own personal lives?

So anyone any experience of dealing with a out there friend? Any input would be so:cool:

I used to shag around. Now I don't. What happened? I'm not sure. I think it's because I fell in love with someone who was extremely horrible to me and now I see sex as being that thing rather than the fun it used to be.

If she steals people's boyfriends and sleeps with a whole rugby team that seems a bit far, even by my standards, and shows a complete lack of caring for the publics opinion. Have you asked her why she does what she does? Does she think her behaviour is acceptable? Or is it more she can't see an alternative? Is she just having fun and not realising it looks bad or trying to prove something?

Psych help is prolly good anyway.
Let her have fun.

Are you a bit jealous!?

(Serious question.. dont mean to be rude.)
She clearly has some issues in her life if she's going round sleeping with anything she can lay her hands on, she needs help.

I can't imagine many people being jealous of someone who quite literally keeps their legs spread for anything. Her behaviour isn't that of a confident promiscuous women it's too extreme!

No offence ro-ro but you just said in another thread you are a confident and bubbly person and you've just admitted here you shagged around alot.

I am confident and bubbly and I have shagged around lot but if I was someone else looking in on my life I wouldn't be jealous.

Also I wasn't extreme I didn't steal people's boyfriends or sleep with whole rugby teams (aren't there like double figures in a team?) but in comparison to most people my age I've slept around and I've had a few one night stands.

However I now view my past behaviour as being the product of feeling unsettled and unloved but I went about making it better the wrong way. I actually think sleeping around alot of the time is a way of hiding other problems, although some people genuinely only want a shag.

Fair enough you calmed down, long as you was careful and you did have your problems.

Rugby teams usually consist a team of 15 I think, and yeah some people just like to shag around, but normally there's a deeper issue somewhere and this case she could well be hiding some deeper issue.

Bloody hell! I thought it was 11 (but that might be football I don't play sports), 15 is mental, very extreme! Surely if you were a rugby player and you knew 14 of your mates had been there you wouldn'?

Anyway psych help is the best bit and try to talk to her about it. My old housemate talked to me about it and was the first person to make me see I was filling a circle with a square if you get my drift, I was just making excuses in my head for myself (I was drunk, I thought he liked me, etc etc).

Yeah Football is 11 a-side. Trouble is you have a team of 15 horny rugby players, they won't care how many times she's been used, it's an easy shag for them.

No, no way she is going down a dangerous road imo.

No  question don't have a problem with your question
Trouble is also if she's not using any protection, she's either gonna end up with something nasty or she'll be pregnant and won't have a damn clue who the Father is.

Ok I know this is wrong to say but ****ing hell it would make a great Jeremy Kyle....
Jeremy: Tell us a bit about yourself sweetheart
Her: Well I've got a 9 month old baby and I dunno who the daddy is
Jeremy: Do you at least know who it could be?
Her: One of the rugby team players, it could be any of them though, there's 15....

 There was one recently where a 15 year old girl went on there and she'd slept with loads of random men because she desperatly wanted a baby and had shagged over 300 times.

Ha ha I know Jeremy Kyle is wrong but it's so funny!

I think I saw that one. I also saw the one with the girl who was 15/16 and had had an abortion and was still sleeping around and drinking loads and stuff. Her mum was on with her and she said point blank it's your fault mum you don't pay me enough attention!
I saw a bit of it on youtube, I know her mother was pleading her to stop having sex.

This girl obviously has been treated badly by men, had no father figure or been abused. She needs help and to see a councillor. As for what others have said its usually the state who end up footing the bill for these babies
