    Hi Hodor_10,

You are right; UWE Bristol is a really good option to consider. As a former UWE Bristol student, I might be a bit biased . I can tell you from personal experience I really enjoyed my time there. Both the lecturers and students are friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my course, it was a bit challenging but I had help when I needed it. There’re loads of activities and societies to get involved in and make new friends. I joined UWE Jets to play basketball and I met new people and travelled a lot.

Hopefully, you will get a few more replies so you don’t have to take my word for it.

Let me know if you will like to know anything.

    Hi there ,
I would just like to say thank you for your help . I'm strongly considering UWE , possibly in my 1st or 2nd option . Currently I live in Bristol however I'm thinking about applying for accommodation as I imagine staying at home makes it a lot harder with regards to social life and making friends so I wondered what accommodation was like? I am planning on doing a combined course in English and history and if possible wondered what grades I should be looking to achieve or what grades/points I could get offered in a conditional from UWE (I got 4'Cs at AS .

Again thank you for all your help .

    Hi Hodor_10

There’s a range of accommodation options available to students. When I started as a student last year, I stayed in Brecon Court in Frenchay with five other students from different courses. I made lots of friends from other nearby halls, and we would hang out in each other flats or at the Students’ Union. I also found it a lot easier to get involved in social activities and meeting new people from other halls.

In regards to the entry requirements for English and History, this link will provide you with more information:http://courses.uwe.ac.uk/QV31#entry

Let me know if you have any more questions.
