So afaik, the actual amount you receive is based off household income. I'd currently receive the minimum maintenance loan, but I was wondering, what if I no longer live with my parents but they are still paying for my food, rent, etc., which will technically result in me having a low household income, but would that result in me getting the maximum loan? If that makes sense?

    Hi,

If you are under 25 you are classed as dependent on your parents regardless of where you live, so we would still take into account their household income when assessing you.

    Thanks
