    Hi,

I was considering a career in Investment Banking and I applied to Henley for Finance and Investment Banking, Cass for Banking and International Finance and Warwick for Accounting and Finance including Foundation year.

I received offers from Henley and Cass and was just wondering which out of the three choices would put me in the best position for a career in Investment Banking.

    Thanks for your help.
Warwick is a target, Cass is a semi-target and Henley only gets a smidgen in once in a while.

So would Cass still be good enough to get into a Tier 1 Investment Bank?

Yes, I have a few friends that have done exactly that.

AS wasn't too good, BCDE in Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry but was predicted A* in Maths, A for Physics and B for Biology.

Cass is a tremendous scam that attracts a handful of mislead top candidates and a sea of lightweights. These top students are the ones that get the jobs, which might constitute a mere 10 out of the 150 on each course. But if you have BCDE, then that's the way to go since I've seen people who get accepted with BCC. With those grades I wouldn't have high hopes for IB, since you'd get filtered out of the application process straight away. Plus the banks aren't stupid, I'm sure they understand that something dodgy is going on with Cass.

On the bright side, if you get the A*s and As then sure, you can get into IB. I have a couple of friends who have done that. But your success will strictly depend on you.

I agree with this, except the part about Cass being a scam. It's not, there are just a lot of dead weights at the undergrad level. At the postgraduate level it is solidly one of the best places you could go, regularly sending people into decent banks.

Lmao, tier 1 investment banking...you need to love the finance world and be highly skilled in finance not just academically..if your doing it for the money you need to get out lool, went to a lecture about this by some guy called Anton kriel. you hardly get breaks, you world revolves around your work and that my friend is also for some strong willed people..just something you should understand

your AS grades are not too bad but pick WBS or Cass not Henley just resit a few
