I recently had to bid farewell to a good friend since she went to study abroad and distance relationships just don't work out. we came to the conclusion that if we were meant to be destiny or fate or whatever would bring us together. I wasn't so sure when I said goodbye but it was in her best interest. we rarely talk anymore since the times are so different and were both quite busy, I accept the seperation, but cant stop thinking about her all day and in everything I do.
i just want to live my life, doing my everyday things without thinking about her at the back of my head, how?

I'm sorry there is no quick fix to this, things that can help is spending lots of doing doing 'stuff' (what I mean by this is doing anything you may or may not be interested in!) to keep you pre-occupied whilst you are getting yourself sorted out. Overthinking things is not good in my opinion, time is a great healer. If you know that you and this person really cannot be together/ spend time together then you must cut ties because it will only cause you more pain in the long run.
On the other hand if you know that you cannot physically spend another waking second without this person in your life. Then you will find a way believe me
These are my views and how I would deal with them. But my views aside the decision is up to you, good luck.
