    Hi guys!

I'm doing my Physics, Maths, French, Arts and Ceramics A-levels. I always wanted to become an architect, I think I would do very well in this section and consider it interesting and stimulative. I'm very strong academically and I'd love to go to Cambridge. However, the other field I'm interested in is advertising. I'm quite artistic person, honestly I'd be totally happy if I could become a famous artist, but let's face the reality: I started to look for other options which could allow me to express a lot, but are a bit more probable in being promising financially. Advertising sounds great to me, I love to come up with ideas and create things. I was thinking if there is any good academical way to develop in terms of advertising? Because I'm a bit concerned I won't make use of my academical skills and wasting a chance to study something at one of the top universities is not good, not good... moreover, because I still have interest in architecture and if I graduated from architecture I would gain great skills so even if I decide I want to do something different, I could use in other fields as well? On the other hand, to qualify as an architect fully is a long, 7-years-lasting proccess.

What do you think? If you have any other ideas how to use academical skills along with artistic ones (I love you, art!) to succeed, I'd be happy to hear them. I love ceramics, so hearing stories about some people running successful businesses which create e.g. sculptures for rich people's swimmingpools sounds like perfect lifestyle to me...

What's on your mind about it?
