Student culture? watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm currently doing a maths course at my local uni (purely out of convenience) to get some more qualifications before I start my proper degree next year. I'm having a great time here, but I've learned that I'm not much of a party person, and I'd love to meet more quiet/academically driven people than Plymouth uni (where I am now) seems to have. I'm hoping to apply to Belfast, Loughborough, Swansea, Warwick and Stirling- does anyone have any ideas of what life and student culture is like at these unis? Obviously students like clubbing, but is that one of the main attractions and aspects of life there? It seems to be here :/
    Many thanks!

Look into the societies available, I'm sure you will find like minded people there. =)
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
