Okay so I need to make a short story for my GCSE Coursework. The title is "Mum/Dad shouted up the stairs, "Come down here now!".

Do you have any story ideas and any tips for A* and A grade. Please help

write about what you know, but try to avoid the obvious that this could be. Originality and creativity or always good, for example, my title was 'breaking the rules' and I did mine about breaking the gender norm, something I'm pretty passionate about and I got an a*! Ensure you're getting in metaphors/similies/a wide range of vocab but most importantly write from your heart, you don't want your narrative to be blocky and factual it needs to flow. Good luck!
