Career in Scientific Research without a Degree? watch

    • Thread Starter

Hi guys, up until now I was set on going to uni, I'm currently studying second year A levels and am predicted AAA doing bio, chem and english lit, I'm sure I can exceed these grades.
However I don't want to take a student loan to go to uni. I was wondering what would be the best thing to do? Take a few years out and make up some money and pay for it myself? Or try and do an apprenticeship? Idk, but ultimately I want to do neuroscience and go into research. However I think that's very unlikely without a degree?

    What is your guys opinions?

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
