    Most look good to me. Question D might be incorrect though...do you think it could be an X-linked disorder, since the male patient would not pass his X chromosome onto his child and therefore they're at no risk?

    Given the story and that there is no chance of it being passed it is almost certainly mitochondrial (maternal inheritance only)- the story is a textbook presentation of a mitochondrial condition called LHON (http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/leb...tic-neuropathy)
