This might be a confusing question but this is about the UCAS process, for example if you are predicted AAA and get accepeted to a uni with AAA but the entry requirements are CCC and you get CCC at A level will you get accepted via entry requirements or predicted grades.

Bro, the entry reqs are what you have to achieve. Predicted grades (alongside your achieved AS grades and GCSE grades) give you a chance of showing your potential of achieving the grades, if that potential is good enough you will get an offer.

Your job is to meet that offer. So say you apply for an AAA course, your predicted grades are AAA (or more) you then get an offer to meet those grades on results day. If you miss them and got ACC, you'll be rejected.

Basically your predictions, personal statement, previous grades get you the offer and your final grades will determine whether you actually get into the course.

If you are predicted AAA and the entry requirements are CCC they won't give you an offer of AAA. They will most likely offer you a lot closer to CCC with maybe a difference of one or two grades either way. If anything they would give you an easier offer if they want you in the hope that you put them as a back up. Especially if your predicted grades are so much higher than their entry requirements. For example, Southampton's standard offer is to get an A in 3 subjects including maths, however i have been offered a place with a requirement of attaining in B in maths, even though i am predicted an A*. Hope that clears it up a bit.
