    Hi

I am quite a complicated (okay, very complicated) person so unfortunately it is hard to keep it simple because everything seems to affect everything else. But, to keep it simple I'm just going to explain the problem and what detail is needed for that. I will only explain other things if anything someone suggests could not work because of something. So basically I'm saying if you suggest something I then can't do please keep trying to think of other ideas.

So, the past few weeks my sleep has been really bad. It's more of an issue of I can't sleep-when I finally get to sleep I mostly stay asleep.
But I stay up watching lots of documentaries, not having much else to do.

I've talked to my mum and she's suggested the idea of sleep medicine (not tablets, I can't take tablets so it would be whatever else there Is that works similar to a tablet I imagine). Were thinking of going to my GP to ask but waiting for now because I'm meeting the uni mental health person on Friday (not about this), but last time we met they talked about me needing more professional help/something uni cant do. So Id need to go to GP to get that I might as well do both together.

I've tried so many things, not going to list them all but because sleep is an ongoing problem I'm worrying if something else could be wrong. I already take lots of medicine so not sure about having more but I don't know what else to do.
Feeling in a trap that will make me end up at GP at some point about something but is there anything I can do?

Are you able to sleep or feeling tired during daytime? Although this may sound really stupid, have you tried to drink hot cocoa before you sleep? That often does the trick...

Don't really feel tired directly, that's because of something else I have-there are lots of things I can't feel. But I have noticed that my ability to concentrate, focus, pay attention etc is worse than usual, as is organising - and I cant think of anything other than sleep really that might be creating this. so it is a problem.
