Do you understand the way the UK university transfer process works? There's not normally an option to transfer in the middle of the year. You may be able to change universities for second year, if the courses are similar enough, or you'll have to reapply and start your first year again. So, it's likely you're going to have to stay in Liverpool at least until the end of this year. If you're not doing a straight law course, it's unlikely you'll get into second year law at another university. Also, you'll usually need to have good first year grades to transfer- so you can't hold off on working until you're somewhere you're happy.

When are you going to be 18? If it's soon, that might make a big difference to your experience, and you'll have more time to make friends. Alternatively, maybe be more proactive in suggesting non-drinking events in any societies you're a member of, or to people you know?

The alternative would be dropping out and reapplying elsewhere for first year entry. If you're really miserable, maybe this would be the best option for you- but you'd need to check how it would affect your visa, and obviously there are no guarantees you'd be happier elsewhere, especially if you can't do your first choice course.
