I am wondering if anyone who is doing their A level this year would be able to help me out.

I am an independant student(i.e. learning on my own no school), 21 years of age wanting to do:
    Government and politics

I am hoping to do 2 years in one go. However i am not sure the revision techniques in revising for these subject.

For example i have looked at the past exam papers and seen that in every paper there is one madatory question you must answer, and then the next set of question you can choose what set of question you wish to answer.

So my question is how is everyone revising for these subjects ofcourse you are to learn the mandatory topic, but what about the rest can you choose which to revise rather than learning the whole book.

    Thank you.
