So there is currently some sinister other worldy fog engulfing us. Is it an alien life form targeting our airports?

I was attacked by it myself whilst out on my bike today. It was all sunny and warm like a summers day, not a cloud in the sky. Then out of nowhere I'm on busy main road that is dodgy for cyclist at the best of times caught in thick fog and no lights :eek3:

I got some good pictures though It was like being on a mountain top.

That picture was taken from Ramsaw Rocks and the hill in the background is Henn Cloud (fitting name ). It's in the Peak District.

It's pretty normal for there to be fog in November.

Great photo! Where abouts is this?

Also I've been up and down North West England today and the fog is variably thick. In Merseyside it was reasonably clear but got lower and thicker in Warrington. Near Preston I briefly saw blue skies and here in Lancaster it's super thick.

Err. No. It's a natural phenomenon.

    Edited it in.

    That's basically my playground

I'm unemployed now so I basically cycle all around that area and do other stuff like rock climbing and volunteering. :-/ Been my life for the last 6 months pretty much. There was some peregrine falcons nesting on that crag in the above the clouds I helped protect in the summer

Wait, i got told the fog contains pollutants in it which come from diesel-run vehicles and such human heating activities????????

Well I've started my research looking into fog. The amount of puns I've received are ridiculous for fogs sake
