Surrey Uni Nutrition/Dietetics - Timetable/Contact time per week

Hi
I'm hoping to apply to Surrey Uni to study Nutrition/Dietetics and am just wondering whether anyone can tell me the kind of hours you're at uni each week - Is it everyday Mon-Fri 9-5? I've heard some people at uni on a full time course only go in a few times a week?
I will be commuting and have a son at school so just wondering what to expect. Would the people that organise the timetables take this into account and maybe try and condense the contact time?

Hi I'm in my first year at Surrey and the timetable does run with lectures everyday, as they are scheduling for such a large group especially in first year(lectures with 200+ students) contact time is not condensed and be aware the timetable changes every week with no real consistency
