I'm starting to do my Christmas shopping and I was just thinking how more people get cards than presents. By this I mean my gift list is at least half the size of my card list. By this I mean 'proper' gifts as half of the people on my gift list are just getting sweet jars that I'm making (family other than parents and friends that I'm not that close to/don't really know what they like). People that are getting 'proper' presents are my parents and a few friends that I know better/am closer to then the others.
Everyone on my gift list will be getting a card plus a few more people that I know but would probably be considered more aquaintences than friends but are still people that I know and talk to if that makes sense.
There's present people, card people and then those people that fit in somewhere in between. These people often move up or down by the next year from my experience though.
Does anyone else find this weird?
