I'm currently at a place where I have literally no idea what I want to do and things I do think I'd like, I'm unable to achieve.
I have alevels in law, history, english lang and lit (ccd) as an AS epq (c)
I studied law at uni for 1 year, mental health nursing for half a year.
I did enjoy law, but i only got in through clearing - so i couldnt do that again (ive moved up to scotland since, was in england previously)
did mental health nursing for half a year up here in scotland, it kind of made me upset cause i cant help the patients as much as i thought i could (dementia ward)

overall - i currently work in a call centre and i have no idea what i can do, however, i do know i absolutely don't want to work in a call centre.
I work 40 hours a week on a shift pattern so i cant do any evening courses, i looked at going college full time but because i havent been in scotland 5 years i cant get funding, i also cant afford to do this as I do have rent to pay.

I just don't know at all what to do, I don't have any idea what I want to do, i've done waitressing and working in a bar and now im in a call centre. I want a career but i dont know how to even approach this. I've taken career quizes and i get stupid answers. I spoke to a careers advisor, they said to join the police - but i failed my driving test so i cant do that at all even though it would be a great career.

I kind of just want some ideas or guidance, I seriously don't know what to do. I'm too old for some funding because im 20, so over 18 and under 24 - so no apprenticeships, i have no retail experience, i work 40 hours a week, i cant afford to go to uni again and my grades arent enough. just urgh! someone help !

Sounds confusing but at least you're getting out there and trying lots of different things and being proactive, something many people don't do.

It's hard to recommend ideas without knowing more about you.

Has there been any part of any particular job you've done so far you've enjoyed?

Also I'm pretty sure there's opportunities for older apprentices: http://www.myworldofwork.co.uk/conte...apprenticeship

I've enjoyed waitressing and thing's like that, it's just quite hard to find somewhere looking for a full time waitress. I've noticed in roles like that and in retail they only seem to look for part time roles, which is suitable for students but I'm not really in a financial position to only be working part time :/

I do enjoy customer facing roles, definitely not talking over the phone constantly, but I do like talking to people. I'm just not sure of what jobs there are involving this that are offering full time

thank you for your suggestion im deffo going to look at that website because I've never really considered apprenticeships in great detail as I applied for a few but because i'm over 19 they said no. I'll look into them more though thank you
