Hi, I came to the UK from a different country at the age of 15 and i was put into year 11 in my first school. I couldnt speak the language so i only had to do a few subjects, maths, english, 3D design, ict, btec sport and btec science. I did really well in my subjects so i was able to do A level maths, physics and further maths altough i only got a d in english. My question would be if i cloud get into university with only these few gcses but with a good result in my a levels? Also will the universities accept ielts academic test from me instead of gcse english as i am now registered as a british student and not an international?

It will be up to individual universities, you should contact them before you apply. They may expect you to retake GCSE English, or they may be willing to accept IELTS or they may suggest you take an equivalent qualification.

Only having a few GCSEs in your circumstances won't matter at all- but English could be a problem, as universities will want some evidence that your English ability has improved to the level needed to cope with the course.
