Hi,

I am an International CompSci applicant and I have three options:
  1. CIE A Level Further Maths
  2. Edexcel AS Level Further Maths
  3. Edexcel A Level Further Maths
CIE Further Maths will be held at my exam but for Edexcel Exams I will have to travel 6 hours to nearby city. CIE Futher Maths will be two papers and Edexcel papers will be 3 to 6 modules. These are my questions:
  1. AS or A Level Further Maths for Comp Sci with Natural Science?
  2. If A Level Further Maths, Edexcel or CIE Further Maths?
Please help me decide. I will be taking the exams in upcoming Summer 2016.

As per my reply in the other thread:

Option 4: find a college that doesn't require FM. (If one exists...)

I think the more maths you do the better, so A-level would be better than AS. Further maths one of the most useful subjects you can do for Computer Science (after maths, and of about equal importance with a science). I would probably try to do further maths with the same exam board as your regular A-level maths.
