Hi. I'm currently in year 11 and I'm trying to find any work experiance or volunteer work in the medical feild, which will help when applying into a medical field later on in life.
I want to be a diagnostic radiographer, but the place where I can get work expericance for that specific job, says that you have to be 17 years old. The place offering also has different sections of the medical feild for lower years so is it worth applying in a different area just so i get the experiance of the hospital or find something else?
I've recently done some volunteer work at a local half term kids club and I'm now looking to do something more to do with Health and Social Care.
If anyone has any tips/advice for me, or know of any volunteer work in the Tamworth area would be much appreciated.

I'm applying for medicine this year.
The one advice I can give you is sort out any hospital work experience you can get. It doesn't have to be in the field you want to specialise in - getting something is a shed load than nothing at all. It's virtually mandatory to have some sort of experience in the hospital so I'd definitely advise you sorting out something even if it isn't in the field you want to specialise in.

You can try Home care for elderly. its suitable for medical purposes. that is the only thing a 16 year old can get. or if you have connections with people that work in hospitals or pharmacy, ask them to help you get the experience.. hope this helped
