I took a gap year because I didn't get into the university I wanted to go to. My girlfriend and I wanted to go to the same university and she did exceptionally well and I... well, didn't. This might sound like a poor reason to take a gap year but it's been great for me so far, I've learnt a lot at work and I've learnt how to manage my finances better and frankly, it was the best option I had on results day. This year, I picture myself working, studying and then travelling next summer. So far, it's November and I've booked my exams and whatnot, but I can't find the right balance between work and study. Any help on how to manage my time better? How many hours in my workweek are too many hours?
