Hello! So basically i am 15 turning 16 in February and I'm getting metal braces (for free on the NHS) because of some vampire fang teeth and I've always been extremely self conscious with my looks and had a very low self esteem and I've been worrying for a very long time about how I'm going to feel having very visible metal braces

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to get ceramic braces on the nhs and does it cost any extra? Thank you!

i had the metal braces aged 17-19 and no one batted an eye lid so no need to worry about it. As far as I'm aware the metal ones are the only option on the NHS. Well worth it though.

A lot of people have worn/wear braces it's nothing to be ashamed about. I don't think you can get less visible ones on the NHS.
