I have received an offer to study Business Law at DMU starting in September 2016. I was just wondering what the university is actually like and what it is like living in Leicester as a student?

Hi! My sister goes to do DMU and she stays at Newarke Point self-catered. She really likes it there because there is a Tesco and a Lidl not far, so she doesn't have to travel far to get food and Newarke Point in general is really big, so you wouldn't feel at all alone. Also, the distance between the accomadation and the uni is not that long, which is better than when my other sister was a first year at another uni and she had to travel 40 mins by bus to get to a lecture.
In general, having visited Leicester several times before, it is really lovely and there are many areas with cultural differences, which is good because you can experience the different cultures and festivities in that area.
Congrats with your offer and good luck!
