    Hi, I'm not trying to spam the forum, it's just TSR won't allow me to post a link of this video.

    In this video, ExamSolutions subtracts 2 from 7 to find the height of the triangle. I don't understand why he did this someone please explain.

    This is C1 coordinate geometry

    The height is given by the difference in x-coordinates of the two points. Which is 7 and 2 (since it's just the horizontal distance between those two points).

    Ok... would that been the case for finding the base, just finding the difference in y values

    Since the base is a vertical lines, yes, it would be the difference in the y values of C and B. (8-0 = 8)
