UCAS - Individual

Hi,

I'm currently second year college and applying to uni. My personal tutor told me to apply as an individual, not through a school/college. She doesn't seem to know much about universities, just wondering if that's correct for my situation?

I'm at a state college like a normal student. Worried whether she's misleading me or not.

Cheers.
Hi,

That sounds weird, because your school should be writing you a reference! Maybe ask a different teacher, good luck
Some schools/colleges are not UCAS registered centres, if your school was then your tutor would have given you a 'buzzword' to apply with. Regardless, applying as an individual is not that much different apart from that your referee will have to enter your predicted grades if you have any.
