My UCAS application has just been sent and on my application to the two Sheffield unis I put I'd be living at home. However I've now decided I'd rather go into halls. Will this affect this or will it make no difference?

It does not really make much of a difference, universities usually just use it to a get an idea of how many people will be wanting student accommodation. If you really are concerned just give the university a call.

Doesn't matter. That box is only really there so they know whether or not to send you accommodation literature.

And to be honest - so many applicants tick the box incorrectly most universities will ignore it anyway (I've seen applications from all over the world saying that they plan to live at home )
