    Hi i am currently studying level 2 maths and in my work box there is a question i am really stuck on ...coukd someone please explain how they work this out and how they got the answer ill post yhe question below !!

    George is a sheep farmer.his herd contains herdwick sheep and blackface sheep in the ratio 3:2. George has 180 herdwick sheep.How many sheep does he have in total ?

    A ratio 3:2 means that for every 3 Herdwick sheep, George has 2 Blackface sheep. How many lots of 3 sheep is 180? Hence how many groups of 2 Blackface sheep does he have?
