I have been doing a lot of research into what could help with my acne. I've suffered with persistent acne since the age of 13+ I'm now 20. I've been on various medications for bacterial + anti inflammatory purposes to help fight the acne but nothing. Lots of topical treatments (e.g. benzyl peroxide & salicylic acid) I'm currently on cerelle pill and have been since last June and my skin just has not got better (I know this pill is known to cause acne as a side effect but I already had it) Anyway, the question is: If I was to go to a dermatologist, would there be any possibility of being put on roaccutane whilst being on cerelle?

I started taking roaccutane last year after having had bad acne for several years, it did have some annoying side effects like nosebleeds really dry flaky lips and being more sensitive to sunlight but I finished taking it well over a year ago and my acne is pretty much non existent now. I'm not sure about the cerelle pill you mentioned but just bring it up with your doctor they'll know.

Thank you for replying! It's really beginning to knock my confidence... We live in a world constructed by the media and a constant pressure to look flawless. I hate it but I know within myself that acne is not the worst thing but it surely doesn't help. I'll contact my doctor and see if I can be referred to see a dermatologist. Thanks again!
