Management consulting with an LLB

Hi guys,

I am currently looking to secure a job in management consulting, by way of background i recently graduated with a 2:2 in law from a redbrick uni and am currently studying the LPC.

I have completed various bits of legal work experience but in studying the LPC i have realised that practising law as a solicitor is not really a field that I will enjoy.

From my research thus far I can see that although management consulting firms expect a high academic standard, they are fairly flexible in terms of degree background. Having looked into McKinsey and co there is to some degree an advantage in having a law degree.

I was just wondering whether you guys knew of any firms which accept applications from those with a 2:2 and value a legal background as a opposed to simply being blocked by the filter.

Thanks in advance
