I have a stutter. Its only a mild one but can get more obvious when I am nervous. Would that discourage interviewers as medicine is already a competitive course?

    Hi Maradinho,

We don't think it should be a problem. Perhaps you could address your interviewers at the beginning of the interview, saying that when you get nervous your stutter becomes more pronounced and that you hope it won't be a problem. Being open about it might be a good thing. Then if you do stutter, your interviewers won't think anything of it.

    We hope this helps,

    TMP

I wouldn't worry. I stuttered and stammered throughout my interviews out of nerves but it was fine for me - they know you'll be nervous.
