Hello - I know most people, including myself, know how long they've been in a relationship together for but I'm wondering whether you actually celebrate it? My friend and her partner always buy each other anniversary cards and go for a meal and what not and I guess I'm just curious to see if me and my other half are just miserable so and sos that don't haha

My relationship anniversary is near Christmas so we decided that saying "Happy Anniversary" with a kiss and a hug is more appropriate so that we have more money to spend towards Christmas gifts and the likes. I don't really feel the need to make a huge deal out of it unless it's at the 5 year or 10 year mark where it feels more suitable to celebrate rather than every single year.

It was a bit awkward remembering dating anniversary so we resolved that by getting married on that day. Now its not so awkward celebrating it

Dump her the day before the anniversary. Get back together the day after.
