How do I react around a friend who turned me down? watch

I basically told him that I liked him and he turned me down. We have lots of mutual friends and are in the same friend's circle so it's not like I can just avoid him.

I'm not sure how to react around him I feel like if I ignore him then I will look bitter or upset. But I feel if I'm friendly I will look like I still like him.

We are going to a party at the weekend. What should I do?

this happened to me a couple of years ago. it was awkward at first but we just decided not to mention it and just act like normal and it worked and we're fine now :yep:

if you try and avoid him completely then it'll make it into more of a big deal than it is. You might not be as close as you were before at first, but try to spend time together causally as part of a group and gradually things will get back to normal, and you will get over him and meet someone else :hugs:

Try to not think about him??? If you're finding it too hard to be around him then I can't really help, possibly try talking to him about it? Sorry I can't help out more

If you avoid him, then people will ask what's going on. From his point of view, he'll probably feel quite bad too.

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
