I'm in year 11 and my attendance is about 70% something. I know that it is pretty rubbish and the year has just started. I am suffering with severe depression and anxiety so there are days where I just can't get out of bed.

My predicted grades are A*-B, and I heard some teachers say you can get your attendance up by coming in every day.

They only care about the grades.

In my experience if your grades are good, attendance means nothing.

During A-Levels my attendance was probably around 20%-50% and at Uni it was even less than that. They did call me in for informal meetings to discuss my attendance but once they see your results are good they don't say anything. I was always told that my Sixth Form or Uni or Internship would consider my attendance. No one said anything.

It does but if you explain your circumstances with depression etc. they'll likely be less apathetic to your case.
