Perhaps the uncivilised, low social class vermin who engage in the extremely antisocial practice of setting off fireworks have decided to be a little more considerate and reduce the level of noise pollution. Or maybe it's something else, I don't know.

Because it's cloudy/foggy/raining so it's not worth it.

I'd agree, but it seems where I live people have instead decided to have firework fortnight, whereby every tom **** and harry seems to be having their fireworks at different nights so it's been non stop for the past week sfdfvgrfd

I imagine there will be a few on the weekend though.

It's been pretty noisy where I am, but I do live quite close to a park that has a huge firework display on.

It has been like the ruddy Somme here since about 6:30. They are still going off. Not as mental as at 8pm, but still fairly constant.

There has been a nationwide shortage this year because the problem family that live next door to me decided to buy all the professional display fireworks and set them off in their tiny back yard. Now I know what it is like to experience a four hour aerial bombardment (without the roof crashing down or the casualties).

Isn't that what the Tories have been doing for 5 years? They call it quantative easing lol.... Of course people's quantative easing i.e. investment in our infrastructure and people is a bad thing!
