I wrote my personal statement for psychology and cognitive neuroscience but the course I applied for at Leicester is just Neuroscience. My a-levels are biology, psychology and history. Will the fact that my personal statement isn't for purely neuroscience have any impact? Btw there is quite a lot about neuroscience in my statement already, but mostly about cognitive neuroscience.

It'll probably have an impact, because do universities prefer it when you predominantly talk about the course you're applying for with them, but you might still be lucky as it does relate, but I don't know how picky Leicester are

good luck!

Neuroscience courses may have some optional psych modules so check that out first. Maybe only have one psych para and talk about links between the two. They are related so don't worry too much about it.
