Leaving Sixth Form? watch

    • Thread Starter

I started sixth form college a few months ago and it isn't going to work out. As a result I've decided that I'm going to leave. Naturally people will try to convince me out of it, however my mind is made up. I'm unsure what I'll do once I leave, probably get a job until September next year and start all over again. I have a few queries about the topic and I was wondering if anyone here has experience with leaving sixth form?

    1. How long does it take? If I speak to my tutor tomorrow and tell her, can it be immediate?

    2. I've done my maths GCSE retake exams this week (I originally got a C and decided that wasn't the grade I wanted), normally the results come through in January. If I leave, do I still get my results or do I have to be enrolled at the college?

Any other general information on this from those who have left sixth form would also be greatly appreciated.
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
