BAE apprenticeships watch

    • Thread Starter

anyone that has done an apprenticeship (in particular those who have done engineering at Warton and salmesbury) Im applying at the moment and was wondering do they ask for references and if so then from who? im in college in my first year and thinking of leaving at the end of this year, hopefully to do this apprenticeship! But i got off to a bad start and therefore any reference from college will probably be very poor. In my opinion i have a skill set that i think would potentially put me at an advantage over other applicants but if i have a poor reference would they accept me? would leaving college and getting a job to start fresh and get extra work experience be a wise move in your opinion? or do you have any other suggestions. I cant carry on with another year at this college and have a couple of friends in BAE aswell as a keen interest in both military aircraft and engineering. any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated
