    Hello everyone,

I have lived in Plymouth in student living since I was 17 and I don't want to leave this town.

I am currently having a dilemma, I don't want to put all my emphasis into getting onto the Marketing course at Plymouth university only to be rejected.

I am currently at Plymouth College of Art studying the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology. I am on track to get a Merit in this course which would give me 280 UCAS points.

I'm just worried this course won't be good enough for Plymouth.

Does anyone think it may be okay? Or should I look at other options.

    Thanks
    Ben :P

Plymouth's standard offer for the course is 280 UCAS points, and it says on their website that they will consider most kinds of level 3 qualification. This suggests you have a good chance of getting an offer.

However, there are no guarantees- if more people apply with the right grades than Plymouth want to give offers too, then they will have to reject some people- this might be done on the basis of your PS or your reference. Of course, they can reject anyone for any reason- they're not required to accept you just because you're on track to make the grades.

If you're worried about not getting offers, it doesn't make sense to put all your eggs in one basket, and I think you should look at other options.

It's more of a personal thing as well staying in Plymouth as my mum only recently passed away and is buried here and also all my friends are here too. I really don't want to leave Plymouth.
