I'm almost 24 & most of the people I consider friends are younger plus I also I get on with some people who are middle aged. The people who I know around my age I don't really like really, they are quite rude tbh, the people I've met, although younger seem much more mature, nice & friendly even if they are like between 16-20 years of age rather than say 20-26. Even most of the people going to my forthcoming party are of the former age range. I doubt the people closer to my age value me enough to wanna come, but meh, does it really matter about age? Just wondering...

In my opinion the age shouldn't matter too much... As long as you find them intellectually stimulating and easy to get along with then it really shouldn't be a problem. But I'm sure you'll come across people your age eventually who you'll like.

I dare say you will eventually become middle aged and get on with your peer group, but I wouldn't worry about it, I doubt that any of those people you don't like, have any relevance or would help you in any way anyway.

Yeah I agree, I'm sure there are many open and friendly people out there around my age, I just haven't found many so far, yet...

I have a friend a couple of years lower than me who has said to me he gets on with people better who are a few years older than him. Age difference shouldn't matter to much, however I'm sure there are people out there your age who you would get on with as well. I wouldn't be too bothered.
    Stay calm and live well!
