Its early November and I have spent all my student loan.

I ahve a bursary coming from my university for £500 on the 4th of December. If i take out a £150 student overdraft, and £500 gets paid into my account. Will that money be used to automatically pay off my student overdraft. Will my bank balance go from -150 to plus 350 when the bursary is added.

    Thanks.

Yup. An overdraft is literally just your bank allowing your balance to go negative. That's it.
