Did she want it? watch

So some time ago I made a mistake by planning and going on a trip with my female acquaintance/friend to a holiday destination in which we shared a hotel room. At that point of time we had only known each other for 2 months or so. I don't know about her, but I didn't have any intentions of having a fling.

She told me that she felt bad, because in her religion a girl and a guy cannot be in a locked room together. When I asked why, she said it was because it implied that sex would occur.

After coming back from tanning, she lay face-down on the bed, pulled her bra straps and sleeveless top straps off her shoulders and asked me for help to rub the after-sun gel on her.

Later on that evening, the topic chanced upon sex, to which she commented that sex was way overrated, and that we were not going to have sex (I didn't even ask for it).

Girls, why did she respond that way? Why would she ask for a rub in such a situation?

She seems delusional. Some girls seem to imply that all men want to have sex with them.
But really, sometimes men have better things to do

Maybe she was just making sure that you were both aware that sex wasn't an option?

It's a bit like when a guy and a girl watch a film together and people imply oh blatantly you are going to have sex, there are some occasions when they may simply just want to watch a film.

Yes, true. That's what I think it was.

I mean, why did she ask for a rub? Don't you think that's kinda silly considering she didn't want sex?
