BTEC - any Value
I mucked up my A Levels (with reasons) getting only 90 Tariff points, and so took an advanced apprenticeship to gain more qualifications so as to attend University (probably a course with foundation year).
I am now unsure whether the BTEC has any value as I have just been belatedly told it is not actually graded! - and doesn't attract Tariff points.
I am doing an Advanced Apprenticeship working as IT Support Technician:
Studies deliver:
BTEC Diploma (QCF) Level 3ICT Systems and Principles (4 units, 37GLH, 37 Credits)
Professional Competence for IT/Telecoms Professionals (8 units, 555GLH, 80 Credits)
I also cannot work out where to put these qualifications on the UCAS form as they are neither extended diplomas nor First BTECs.
Can anyone provide any input please?
