How much do you pay (on average) for each meal that you cook? (UK-based only)

    Please specify
    1) whether this is the cost that you pay per lunch/dinner or for the whole day's food. (or month's food).
    2) whether you include drinks in the cost
    3) If you think that there are any special circumstances that imply you are spending more/less than others (could also be if you live at an expensive area).

I pay on average 150/month for food, so around 5/day. It is hard to calculate or even estimate the breakdowns that you are looking for

Breakfast - about 50p or so. I eat cereal that's on offer, if I even eat it at all.
Lunch - I'd guess about £2.00, as sometimes I grab a meal deal, other times I make my own lunch (which is much cheaper).
Dinner - £1.50 on average, as I cook everything myself, and in serves-6 batches.
In all, this comes to about £28 per week.

Drinks come in at about £10 per week. I do live in Newcastle and shop for food at the market whenever possible though, so I'm likely to be getting a decent amount for my money.
