At a couple of unis I want to apply to for my primary pgce they have a requirement of a 'seen teaching form' signed by a senior member of staff, has anyone actually got these? I've done almost ten days observational experience but I haven't been 'seen teaching' as I'm observing and helping out with their teaching not actually teaching them. I'm not really sure what this is? Anyone familiar with it?
    Thanks

I am ready to be stand corrected by those who have been involved in the paperwork more recently than me, but is it not a form to confirm that you have seen some teaching, not that you have been seen doing it? I.e. they are asking the school you were observing in to certify that you were actually doing the observation you claim you have.

OH that would make so much more sense! I was thinking it meant 'this person has been seen teaching' rather than 'this person has seen teaching', thanks so much!
